Located in the coastal town of Peñíscola, this residential project was guided by the essence of the Mediterranean lifestyle. Orientation, light, sea reflections, breeze, slow rhythm, serenity, and silence all shaped the design process — influencing both the spatial layout and the selection of materials.
The duplex features a spacious living area with an integrated kitchen that opens onto the main terrace of the apartment.
The design challenge lay in seamlessly connecting the interior and exterior spaces. A floating grey-toned wooden floor extends from the living room to the terrace, where it transitions into a wood-effect porcelain tile. This continuity blurs the boundaries between inside and outside, creating a harmonious and fluid living experience.
